Movie Review

Night of the Living Dead is the greatest movie ever made. I used to think that Dawn of the Dead was better, but I'm in a Night of the Living Dead kinda mood. This was the first movie I ever bought for my first VCR and now, it was the first movie I ever bought for my DVD player. What a work of art it is! When Dawn of the Dead really got me into zombie movies, I decided to watch Night of the Living Dead. I was simply in awe.
It all starts with Barbara and Johnny arguing at the graveyard. Then, the first modern zombie is seen on film, stumbling along in search of huma flesh. He kills Johnny, forcing Barbara to run for the farmhouse where she meets her fate, along with that bastard Cooper.
They're all trapped in the farmhouse, and not only do they have to deal with the zombies pounding on the boarded-up windows, but they have to deal with eachother. It's Ben vs. Cooper and Helen vs. Harry with Tom and Judy caught in the middle, and Barbara, who lost her mind.
What a movie. The ironic thing is that Cooper the bastard was right over Ben, the designated hero. The cellar really was the safest place...at least until the hicks got there.
