This is ridiculous. The UN says we can't go to war. 44% of the population of the country is against it. (I'm not sure what the "don't know" percentage was, since I'm pretty sure there's not a 56% that do want to go to war..) Half the government (well, 2 ministers and a couple of aides, and others seem to be on the verge of it) have quit over this.

And yet we're still going to war.

Blair's making himself a war criminal.

It's all bad.

And the peace protesters have made things a lot worse by presenting a fractured front to the world and making everything think we don't have the guts to do anything. We lost our chance to scare Saddam and now we're going to have to actually fight.

Against biological weaponry.

Which'll be nice.

I wonder how much of the "the emergency services are prepared and ready to cope with an emergency related to biological warfare" stuff is true?

Well, we could just sit around and wait until he has nuclear weapons and uses them, or gives them to terrorists to use.  :lurk

I don't get it when you americans whine about high gas prices.
Gas costs about 1$ per LITER here, think about that.

Yeah, that's like $4.55 for a gallon. :grrr

Over here in Ontario Canada gas is like 82 cents a liter and rising.

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to this at all. I got a call from my recruiter today stating that there's a 50% chance that I might have to get sent out next week instead of May 1st, which sucks for me...

Oh well though. We'll see what happens, it's not a for sure thing yet.

Actually no, I'm full time, but I haven't gone to Boot Camp yet...that was the date I was SUPPOSED to get sent out. But they said that if Bush keeps sending more and more people, which is likely, then I'll have to go earlier....
