Question 1 - does the followinf information prove that I bought an Hk DvD ( I hope not)Well I read the forum on HK Dvd's and it helped quite a bit.  I purchased the enitre rurouni Kenshin  dvd (tv, oav, movie, etc) series for $110, $150 with shipping (ebay owns).  In some of the episodes there is a fast and annoying lilttle blurp of color that is hard to notice but it is there. (will this show that this is a hk dvd?).  Also as in the forum it said peices of text will be missing, blah blah, well occasionally in the beginning of episodes the first few sentences aren't translated, aka no subs.  And occasionally throughout the rest of the disc.  Now my first disc wasn't like this.  My second disk was.  I am scared to go on to the 3rd.  The man I bought it from said if it doesn't work ship it back.  Question 2So If i ship disk 2 back is there a chance I will get one back that works, with all the subtitles or will they all be messed up.  Question 3Why do I feel like an idiot?

since u seem to be responding to all of my posts, since the dvd disc I currently have is bootleg according to u, and is faulty unlike the first one, if I return it is there a chance the second one will not be faulty? Before today I didn't know what a HK dvd was now I am utterly disappointed....

Yea, why they are bootleggers, HK DVD makers are the best bootleggers. If you get a replacement disc, it should be fine.

would that also fix the grammatical errors, such as Yahi, instead of Yahiko, or taht instead of that, etc.  It has only been a problem once again on this 2nd disc. Please change your sig, it's stretching the tables - H

There are multiple HK DVD manufacterers, each with their own subbers and methods of production. If you have any other HK DVD questions, please feel free to ask in the HK DVD Discussion forum.

oh come on,i have that kenshin hkset, its not bad, sure the spelling can be annoying, but i speak like that on the internet anyway (teh, taht Tongue) so im used it it, dont let something little like the mispellings spoil it.you got what you paid for, and unlike you, im happy with it Smiley  also, i was told that a supplier is unlikely to replace the disk unless it is faulty. aka it doesnt play at all. some little changes in colour are most likely going to be on every disk, it could be down to pixelation from the compression.

Well space ghost, I have become satisfied with them.  The subtitles really aren't that bad when you get used to them.  However I still need to have about 3 replaced because they have missing time.
