speaking of the sakabatou, anyone got any good ideas on how i can make a fake one for a convention...and whats peace tied?

Peace Tied is making it so you can't pull the blade from the shaft and injur someone.Which I kindda find funny.. cause I could probley end up doing more damage when the shaft..

I doubt I'll ever understand why some conventions don't allow actual blades, even if they are tied, but allow others to walk around with eight-foot long staffs, clubs, baseball bats, et cetera.

there was a 50 + post topic about this over at the Swirly Eyed Samurai MB. (name of site might be changed to Tales of a Meiji Swordsman, due to my suggestion to Spamdini ). It looks pretty cool but ever since I started watching kenshin I could not grasp how it could actually be built in real life. Kinda like those optical illusions where a seemingly normal triangle is connected in impossible ways. If you own a real katana like me, youd understand just how impossible it seems for a sakabatou's cutting edge to be made right. Oh well. still a cool fantasy to have. Check out swordsonline.com! Ive gotten most of my swords there at great prices and EXTREMELY fast shipping.  P.S. My katana is not a great collectors item, but it is a thing to be treasured by fans of Enishi. Its a Chinese/Japanese hybrid like the Wattou. It looks exactly like Enishi's sword, only not as long, the hilt's cord is wrapped slightly different and the rope is not as long. ^^ I wish i could bring it to the next anime con i go to. I was planning on being Enishi.     I even finally got my hair style perfect for it. DAMN! :mad: (
