got mine in the mail two days ago. The quality is great- it definitely shows that they did new scans off of the film prints for this. The image quality alone makes this one worth it.

Saw some of these at my best buy the other day.

I didint know it was in a normal case.

How does it fit all those dvds in there?

That was surprising. I was kind of hoping it'd be like those really nice cases Tekkaman Blade and Golion came in, but this is fine. I'll pick this up after save up some dough.

It's a Scanavo multidisk case, with a slim insert.

I dislike Scanavo cases in general because I always have a hard time springing disks without some bending, which isn't good for the disks. In this case, I also found it difficult to get out a top disk without bending the one under it too. I said F this, and once I got all the disks out, I put them in another multidisk case I had. Problem solved.

I have a similar problem with my Black Lagoon steelcase. *shrug* Give me M-clips and Amaray cases anyday. Otherwise, I'm hub-challenged. :p

Yeah are m-locks out of fashion these days?

I cant stand the steel cases, the one for black lagoon season one is just horrible for getting the discs out.

Still its berserk for 30 so ill still get it since i dont have it already.

I'd already have it by now if I wasn't totally broke. Plus, the only store nearby that has it is HMV and their prices are pretty high (and I don't shop online). Maybe I'll get it on my birthday next week.

I got it for $15 recently while Best Buy had their 50% anime sale. I already had the Box of War, but I'll just swap the discs out.

Just finished the last disc... excuse me a minute... Cry OH GOD, WHYYYYYYYY?!

Ahem. Yeah, that last episode still really gets me. Anyway, best purchase I've made in a long time. First time I actually bought the show, too (watched fansubs long ago and only rented the old DVDs), glad I held out for this.

I know that ending is a real punch to the gut.  Even when you know whats going to happend and whats comming its still brutal.

Berserk would make a great long anime, but no we get stuff like dragon ball for 200+ eps.

Berserk does more in 24 then most shows do in 50.

Its kind of depressing knowing i spend about 30ish bucks everytime a new berserk dvd came out here, then waiting  months for the next disc just to spend $30. And now know I can get the whole season for $30....and its a higher quality. Life is just to depressing right now to many bills, not big enough pay days
