Shocked I really like the "this one" (Gundam).

Gotta do some searching around that site. Looks interesting ... Smiley

Masterpiece Grimlock.

I was strongly leaning toward getting it, but after surviving a crazy-ridiculous day at work, I decided I had to go get it.  And I'm quite happy with my newest Transformer!  Today was really a day where I didn't wanna grow up, I just wanted to be a Toys R Us kid!  (It is a TRU exclusive, unless you want to import the Japanese version.)

Not really a purchase, although it led to quite a few purchases at the local pet store...

Behold Obi the cat!

Caught wind of this one from a coworker who let me know he was going up on Craigslist.  It was either that or a shelter.  At 5 yrs old, I didn't think he'd have much of a chance sitting in a shelter getting passed by for the younger kitties, so I took him in.  Been just a few days, but he seems to be comfortable already (at least on my couch).

Oh, and I picked up an Xbox w/Kinect and a few games to go with it.

I have no dancing rythm whatsoever...   Sad

Awww... *pets kitty* What a sweet guy you are to take in an adult cat. Smiley

We have my grandmother's cat right now and I don't know if she'll be going back to my grandma any time soon (though I hope so), she is about 15 years old and she is so spoiled. It's like having a fuzzy toddler running around because she is into everything and she talks constantly.  Embarrassed

After taking care of a couple of bills and obligations, I blew a chunk of my tax refund money on TakaraTomy's MP-9 Masterpiece Rodimus Convoy (a.k.a. Rodimus Prime).  Over $200 for an import toy... and it arrived today.

I have to say, though, that if you were to put this toy on Hasbro's challenge scale (1-5, 5 being the most difficult), MP Rodimus would get a 9.  Some of the parts are very finicky (especially on the legs when transforming him into car mode), but after a couple of hours of frustration (overly stiff joints didn't help matters), I managed to successfully transform him into all four modes.  Granted, switching from Hot Rod to Rodimus Prime and back in robot mode's easy - flip out the face, extend or retract the hip joints and feet slightly, slide the back wings up a little.  But the car modes are a pain.  I really think they could've gotten away with not having the wheels in the legs, as they're not as free-wheeling as a result.

Still, while it may not be as comparatively simple as MP Grimlock or Optimus Prime, MP Rodimus is a pretty nice looking addition to my collection.
