My interpretation is that he did it to save his people.  Obviously it was not an experience that he relished (since, you know, he's scratching himself bloody a couple scenes later).

yeah, it felt like griffith only banged charlotte to get back at guts ... he was definitely a man though, i think he was only gaE for guts. His sacrifice gaE act wasn't a booty call for him ... as LM said he was scraping his skin off when he thought about it.

I believe Griffith is asexual. He is brilliant, merciless, and completely driven; so much so that I doubt he concerns himself with sexual pleasures. A lot of famous serial killers and generals (same thing?) were said to have been asexual, so it isn't very far a stretch to assume a man so focused that he would (*SPOILER*)sacrifice his closest friends and followers(/*SPOILER*) could fall into the same category.

I am looking for episodes 18 to 25 for downloading cause I have never seen those ones before. I think Griffith is not *** just a little psychotic to go that far for his men. He did what he had to do to keep his soldiers from having to go into battle and loose thier lives. CAnt say I would do the same thing but hey to each his own. So can anyone help me get those episodes?
Ohh yeah I am new to this site so can anyone help me figure out how to start a forum and get the downloads? They aint workin I think.
