In addition if you look at the history of the middle east it was even more violent then medieval Europe.Did I just read that correctly? Did you just compare the history of violence in the ENTIRE history of one region to just less then a 1000 years in another? Of course the former is going to be more violent since your going to count in all the years of instability and conquest, while Europe was "conquered" before the middle ages.
Not to mention not every single person in the history of the Middle East was Muslim, nor are Muslims only found there so why you compare the two regions, I have no clue.
