Hi all,

I posted a selection of stats on the various ships of the Legends of the Galactic Heroes discussion forumms around 2 years ago - they're about 90 to 98% accurate to established information (in the Japanese-language LoGH Mechanical Book) and have minor updates based on established visual evidence, both in the series episodes and in the Alba Creates 1/5000 scale resin model kits. Below are my own stats for Siegfried Kircheis's flagship "Barbarossa" (the red one). Just wondering if anyone thinks that these might be accurate enough?

                   THE GALACTIC EMPIRE
           Imperial Fleet Flagship Barbarossa
                Admiral Siegfried Kircheis

Dimensions:

Length: 1000 Meters
Width: 256 Meters
Height: 263 Meters (Including tailfins)

Ship's Mass: 33,700,000 Metric Tons (Operational Full Load)

Complement:

Ship's Crew: 1,013 (Including captain and ship's officers)
Air Group: 208 (Including pilots and maintenance/ground crew)
Imperial Army Garrison: 276 (Including officers, ship security/ground combat)
Flagship Command Staff: Varies, usually 8-12 (Kircheis, advisors, and servants)

Ship Systems/Statistics of note:

- Main power system: Fusion Reactor Cluster X 10
- Maneuvering Reaction Thrusters: X 56 (Steerable nozzles)
- Main Plasma Reaction-Mass Engines: X 3 (At the stern)
- Anti-Gravity Pod System: X 136 (Mounted in exterior hull)
- Main Warp Jump Engine X 1 (600 Light Year warp range)
- Closed-Loop (Indefinite) Air and Water Recycling Systems
- Dry Stores Endurance: Three months maximum before resupply
- Main 25-Cm Cannon Range: 20 Light Seconds (6,000,000 Km)
- Light Fusion Missiles: Scaleable warhead yield of 5kT to 100 kT
- Heavy Fusion Missiles: Fixed warhead yield of 300 kT
- Panoramic arena-style bridge with 360-degree holographic displays
of the surrounding battlefield to a maximum sensor range of 80 Million Km
- Anti-beam-weaponry energy shield. Not effective against projectile or
missile weaponry, and recharges to full capacity at the rate of 25% / minute

Planetary Capabilities:

The Barbarossa has full atmospheric-entry capabilities
due to a combination of it's reaction engines and
anti-gravity pod system. The ship's hull has the strength to
allow for ground landings, and is sufficiently airtight to allow
for ocean landings, and the ship will float in water, providing
that the anti-gravity pod system is fully functional in both cases.

Weapon Systems:

6 X 25-Centimeter Neutron Particle Beam Cannons
4 X 12-Centimeter Rail Guns
14 X 6-Centimeter Electron Beam Cannons
6 X Light Fusion Missile Launchers (36 missiles total payload)
3 X Heavy Fusion Missile Launchers (9 missiles total payload)
64 X 3.7-Centimeter Anti-Aircraft Gatling Pulse Laser Cannons
1 X 60-Centimeter 300-Gigawatt Area-Effect Electromagnetic Pulse Wave Cannon

Small Craft Complement:

44 Valkyrie All-Environment Tactical Fighters
10 Standard General-Purpose Imperial Shuttles
16 Ground/Planetary Combat Vehicles (APC's, etc.)
4 Command Staff Transport Vehicles (Limousines)

Yes. But not usually.

I just had them on my screen because they were an accompaniment for the Alba Creates 1/5000 scale Japanese garage resin model kit that we built.

I was hoping there were LoGH fans at AN.

Probably nothing. They make a LOT more sense in the context of the tabletop wargame that I am/was working on for the series -____-;;;;

If anything, this can only prove that I am at least 60% Abicion, species-wise, in some ways 8o
