I like the list although there are too many lazy people who didn't vote:dead

Naruto is just one of the most addicting series since dragonball and so many people are watching it so its no wonder to find it so high.

I forgot to mention one piece. Its definetly in my top 10. I actually think its better than naruto but I haven't watched beyond ep.120 so I kinda forgot about it. Anyone know a good site to get some torrent packs of One Piece? I'd love to catch up with the show.

Only one I don't agree with is Rahxephon. I found it boring and didn't understand the story. And I think the Ninja Scroll movie should be there but for the rest its all great shows.

I'm crying, too.
Can't believe that there is no Seed and Wing.

Also where is Tsukihime?

Tsuki-what?

I more or less agree with the results.

Surprised by X TV making the list at #2, but I guess it's just been talked about so much people don't have to anymore? >_>

Thank God RahXephon made higher than Eva.

Guess I should take a look at Nausicca.

Also surprised people remembered Wolf's Rain. Need to get on top of watching the rest of that.

Good job, Kino.

True, Naruto has become pretty blech lately, but during its hey-day, you wouldn't have known it could be crappy in any way, shape or form. I endorse second place.

Sorry I didn't vote. ;_;

A fair few people that have seen Tsukihime have also played the game and possibly read the manga, both of which in comparison to the anime are more violent, have more story to tell, are better paced and in general are just fantastic.

I still kinda like the anime but its more for the atmosphere it sets up rather than anything else.

Hm, I very nearly voted...

But soon after I wrote down Berserk, I quickly ran out of ideas; couldn't make it anywhere near picking twenty. That's when I started contemplating listing things like Hellsing which, while I didn't mind, could have been a whole lot better; something that'll hopefully be fixed this December. But as it is, I'm not sure it should be on that list. Other than that and from the list, I would have had the Cowboy Bebop series and movie, as well as the Rurouni Kenshin Thrust and Betrayal OVA's. I would have thought Jin-Roh would get a mention, but maybe that's just me. I think I was most disappointed in Gungrave being nowhere to be seen though; under rated or just more of my bias shining through again?

Oh, and just out of curiousity, how much did Berserk win by? Please? Cheesy

I missed the whole thing completely. Perhaps I am blind? Maybe if the voting was highlighted in some way (e. g. PM to all the board members) some of the board's not-so-frequent visitors would have voted ... as, for example, me.

* Anyway, I'm happy to see most of my personal favourites entering the top: Kenshin OAV, RahXephon, X ... The only one I'm really missing is Perfect Blue, but hey. Two years ago I would have been outraged that Inuyasha didn't make it, but I guess "Times change, Ug, and so does men".

* The reason for Bleach not making it might have been that it's a pretty new series, not many people knowing it yet.

* But I guess the results are somewhat arbitrary anyway, with only 14 people voting...

Eh, im not a fan of X or indeed Clamp in the slightest, everything is so over blown and melodramtic it makes me laugh more than anything. That and the funny proportions, yes even in anime the proportions can be funny.

Depending if AN survives and we get fresh blood Ill be running this anually, so theres always next year, ya know?

I might also lower the number to 10 making the choices harder to make, so no "aahhh ill just xxx in there because I can't think of anything else" will be entered.

Damn! I completely missed this! :nuuu

Glad to see Berserk on top.

I don't get: Naruto, Bloodlust, FMA, GITSSAC, and especially Hellsing. I know these were all popular but personally, I felt none of these had any depth. Also, as much as I personally like X,  I don't think it's one of the best of anime's all time (no offense to Saku.)

Hooray for: RahXephon, Cowboy Bebop, Eva, GITS movie (ok, not the best thing ever but groundbreaking for it's time), Rurouni Kenshin and Akira. Also kudos to Lain and Kino - I'm shocked and amazed but pleased two such cutting edge anime's made the list Cheesy

And because didn't vote, I'm going to throw in my "best evars" :p

    (in order)

    1.  Grave of the Fireflies
    2.  Berserk
    3.  Revolutinary Girl Utena
    4.  Now and Then, Here and There
    5.  Hajime no Ippo
    7.  Evangelion
    8.  His & Her Cir***stances
    9.  Cowboy Bebop
    10. RahXephon
    11. Fruits Basket
    12. Rurouni Kenshin - Trust & Betrayal OVA's
    13. Voices of a Distant Star

Where's Blair's flamethrower :grrr

Esqueeze me? It's one of the most moving, tragic works in recent history, in anime or out. And I don't want no criticism from you, Mr. Pantyshot-Master Fanboy :p
