No, its produced by Sony of Japan, so your thinking of something else.

Project Zero/Fatal Frame? Silent Hill 2/4?

indi may be thinking of Obscure.  It was finally released in the US a few weeks ago.

About Siren 2, the spooky atmosphere still seems in place.  The first Siren was incredibly frustrating to me, but I loved the idea of playing with different people and watching as they meet their fate.  Not enough people die in survival horrors dammit!  I like to have death and hopelessness present in horror games.  Yeah I'm a demented bastard. :p

I hope they have more missions like Harumi's sneaking mission from part 1.  That was creepy as hell, hiding in the closet and listening to the Shibito move all around the house and knowing you were defenseless against them.

dwarfkickers revenge!

The gameplay in the original was unique taste to be sure but once you got into it, it was fantastic. If you learn to Sightjack properlly and learn what all the symbols and stuff means then it helps a hell of alot more. And you die less.

Obscure is naff and I still stand by that, its just hackneyed in comparison with other survival horror games. Im not saying most of them are that unique in story but simply turning a teen horror into a game is'nt good enough.

Im sad to say that it looks like Kuon wont be getting a UK relese either, I havent heard anything about it in the longest time and its shame I really wanna play it.

No word yet on Michigan over here.  Kuon's an interesting play for a survival horror fan, but it's just a bit sad how short it is.  At least you get it at a good price though.

Ok so this is basically a general Survival Horror thread now, because I say it is.

Has anyone played Echo Night : Beyond? Seeing as I just pre-ordered it for £14.99 (cheap!) I wanna know if the mechanics work as well as they look. Being stuck in a astronauts suit, looking through the goldfish bowl. That and it seems to have "borrowed" alot from the "Magnetic Rose" section of the movie Memories.

I hear that Echo Night is actually pretty good, but it looks a bit boring to me however.  Still haven't had a chance to try it yet though.  I usually pass it up for other games whenever I see it.
