And it was surreal. Can't even explain it in words, but I can tell you it's a sight I'll never forget.

It's bad enough on the TV screen. I can't imagine the REAL scene of it.

You think? I know this is your style, but at least when I post if you have something snide to say please keep it to yourself.I know you think you're the ultimate existentialist, but just becuse I release a thought of mine to the public doesn't mean that it required any retort. It was a statement, and I leave it as such.

It wasn't snide and if you see it that way I'm sorry. and it wasn't a retort either.  me saying "yep, well it did" was intended to show people that I've moved on.

I pretty much understood that, but I've moved on too - I don't talk about it every day, but from my window I can hear them dismantling it. I thought it'd be worthwhile to go see it, so I did and then provided an opinion.No hard feelings or anything, just wanted to share my thoughts for the moment. I'm off to sleep through the rest of work -_- zzz

So that's what' you're doing! You fool! You could at least put up an away message as you drool on your desk. I was at the WTC years ago... I remember when we got back our car had been broken into. -.-;;

I know it's a rather selfish thought, but I'm still grateful that none of my NY relatives were even in town that day...Took forever to find that out though, damn busy phone lines....

Hm...well I went to the site in November, actually it was right after Thanksgiving. Icey is right it is absolutely one experience you can never forget.  I know he posted this before I went and it might have been a little more cleaned up afterwards.  There was a memorial around the sidewalk that I saw and the area was closed off, but enough that you could see the real damage.
