I haven't read it in a year for the same reason, although Matt keeps me updated.  There hasn't been a new chapter in a few months. I'd wait a while longer.  Although, apparently a lot of shit happened with Griffith, which is why Guts and Co. are still on the damn boat - the focus has been elsewhere.

we haven't really seen shit out of guts and co., but everything has gone crazy with the kushan emperor and griffith's encounter.  some god damn awesome double page spreads.  but the release schedule is still for the birds.

Hell yea lets all hope its all true...give me some more tattoo ideas lol jk i think i got enough berserk tats. I got two and both have meaning to them and neither one looks like it could be a anime (unless you've seen berserk of course) Ive flipped threw tat magizines and i saw a whole back peace of guts thats just to much there.

According to someone from Skull Knight (who posts on a Jojo board I currently frequent) EG mistranslated what Miura actually said:

"It's nothing new to say this thing, but anime series with a fighting man as the hero are almost dead these days, though I think there are still some people who want this kind of anime."

So with any luck Berserk will be back to man up anime again.
