Holy shit. Has anyone read this? I saw the movie and it was pretty crazy but that was nothing compared to the sheer fucked-uppedness of the manga.

I am reconsidering that whole 'having a child' thing...:dead

I am halfway through volume 3. It seems to be the last one; can anyone confirm that for me?

I borrowed Uzumaki from the library once. :nuuu Bit with the snail people really creeped me out. And yeah, I think it was only three volumes.

How'd you see the movie, by the way? Is it out here? Fansubbed?

I think I got a bootleg copy a few years ago from a local 'weird & wild' video store. I'm pretty sure it was a bootleg. :lurk

I finished volume three today. Damn, that was bleak. I wonder how Kirie managed to keep sane after witnessing all that stuff; my sanity meter would have been totally in the red after volume 1. :eek
