I just got x tv and wow it is amazing (i only have the 1st boxset so far). i know they have up to episode 26 out now, but does nebody know if it ends there or keeps going. if so how many episodes are planned

Actually I believe there are only 24 episodes, 1 season. Thank God, X could have gone on forever...I'd be dead before it was over :p

Yeah, it's 24 episodes. But I'm pretty sure a tv season in Japan is only 13 episodes.

The average used to be 26, but now it's only 13 because they are starting to use cg a lot more.
