Thanks for stickying this thread, Hatchet! Cheesy

OK, here's a few more:

My apologies if any of these are already posted above, I'm still seeing about 34 of everything thanks to the aftereffects from the Christmas Party last night....:dead

Ewido - an excellent anti-spyware program:

http://www.ewido.net/en/

The Cleaner - a good anti-trojan program:

http://www.moosoft.com

Zone Alarm Pro - great, ultra-customiszable (on the fly) firewall - pay but worth it - unless you find a crack - My personal favorite - and gladly paid for/legit (over Tiny Personal and Outpost Firewall):

http://www.zonelabs.com

DriveCrypt Plus Pack - probably the most truly invulnerable personal computer security program out there - using DoD 256-bit AES encryption:

http://www.securstar.com

BestCrypt - another good one - http://www.jetico.com

Forte Agent - the best Usenet browser

http://www.forteinc.com

VuePrint - a great *ahem* graphics viewing program

http://www.hamrick.com

Kremlin - another great security program -

http://www.kremlinencrypt.com

FlashGet - a great file download program:

http://www.amazesoft.com/

SocksCap - another great security utility -

http://www.socks.nec.com/Download/SocksCapDownload/index.asp

Hey grape, one of the things I posted above was kerio's personal firewall...
I was a zone alarm user for like, 3 years now, and justswitched to kerio all of 3-4 months ago and have never looked back.
it rocks ZA's socks.
and its free.

oh, i just remembered one

GetLeft

I can't remember the website. google search it

WHAT IT DOES:
Ever have a website you wanted to steal?  this program will do it for you, change all the links to local addresses, etc. then host it and call it your own.  Well, that's what most people use it for.  I use it to grab someones website who their hosting company has screwed over.

This also ONLY works on html pages.  if they have special coding/php etc then it wont work quite right.

I want a program that makes file size (particularly mp3) smaller. Seriously. I dunno why the hell any song would be made 7-12MB. :rolleyes I have Audio Converter and Ripper, but it doesn't always do the job.

But the good news is that now that I ride a motorcycle, I don't need your crap date.

Hey Grape, I used to use Flashget, but I didn't like the ads in it. I switched to Free Download Manager  instead.

Big Up the K-Lite Massive!!!

Although, I would be (and am) using the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack version:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Mega_Codec_Pack.htm

Goodbye, Real Player. Goodbye, Quick Time. And goodbye, a whole bunch of other **** programs.

Because it's long? Cheesy And I myself have almost no mp3s with a bitrate below 192...because it sounds better. :p

(But if you seriously want to fix this problem, I'd have to recommend Wavelab. It's not free, though.)

Neither did I. Which is why I asked one of my friends to post a crack, and I also only access it with ZoneAlarm (firewall) set to block all scripts, Java, and Javascript Cheesy Oh, plus through a Socks and an SSH.

Probably. And actually, most of the time I just use it with Zonealarm set on lower settings, and no SSH - but if I'm using it to download MP3's, etc. I wouldn't want the RIAA watching :sweatdrop

Process Explorer : replaces the Task Manager. Gives WAY more information about the applications and processes running, better layout of those information too. You can change the priority of processes, kill them (when sometimes the Task Manager won't), explore the handles and dlls of all the processes, and the list goes on and on. Install it and never look back. Smiley

Note : a LOT of useful programs are available from the same website, including Filemon  (lets you see all file system activity in real-time) and Regmon (lets you see all Registry activity in real-time).

The Core Media Player : I use that as my video player. I hate the WMP slowness to start and the full screen crap bars that appear when you touch any keys or move the mouse. Besides TCMP reads subtitle files too.

Great thread! I'll post more later, and I downloaded VuePrint, I'll give it a try. Wink
