Now that the Going Merry is dead, what does everyone think the new ship is going to be like? Im pretty much certain that its going to be a Franky Battle with cannons and stuff like that, should be awesome.

Sad to see the Merry go, but they needed a bigger boat anyway, maybe even a room specifically for the Usopp factory :p

finally caught up to all the chapters NULL has put out and all i can say is :crack

definitey a close second to berserk in terms of my all time favorite mangas.  naruwhat?

the fights are all kick-ass, story is emotional, and nothing ever seems to drag.  there is the perfect amount of humor mixed in with the seriousness and i never have any doubt that luffy and co. are going to figure out a way to get out of whatever pickle they've gotten themselves into.

luffy vs. blueno = hardcore.  luffy is the ultimate badass.

so what do you think the One Piece actually is?  and more pertinent to the current arc, what powers do you think those two CP9 members will get from the fruits they just ate?

ahhh so many questions.  how much do you think hawkeyes' bounty was before he became a shichibukai (sp)?  i don't remember seeing it but i'm guessing at least 500 million.  and what do you think luffy's bounty will look like after they are done invading the WG headquarters?  i think it will go up at least another 100 million if not more.  and everybody on the crew will have a bounty after that as well.

There's a good chance the One Piece is going to be something sappy like (this is gonna kill Mirax) "...it's in your heart."  Or some figurative, illusive thing about chasing your dreams that they'll never actually find.  I really hope it's something physical, but I can see the above happening.

Mihawk's bounty is unknown, but if he's the number one swordsman in the world and owned Zoro with barely having to move, I imagine it's godly.  The Shichibukai are really unthinkable in strength.  I mean, Crocodile was the weakest, had a puny bounty in comparison to the others, but somehow owned Luffy twice before he could be beaten.  I can't even think of how someone would beat Don Flamingo.  And I agree--after Luffy and his crew get out of the WG headquarters, they'll have a ridiculously high bounty.  Although it'd be funny if everyone but Sanji got one.

I really want them to, but I'm more leaning toward them never finding it and the story ending with a "Keep on believing in yourself, searching for the One Piece" or whatever as some kind of message.  I can see it happening either way, and if they ever get to exploring the levels of government, source of devils fruit, and of course One Piece then it'll be absolutely fantastic, but I have my doubts about everything being resolved in the end, if there is one.

theyve got alot to accomplish before they even think about one piece, each of them have their dreams they want to make a reality so chances are we going to see all of those happen before luffy becomes the pirate king, although everything will probably fall together at once.. but anyways they still needa find a musician

I hate to make this comparison, but I feel the same with Naruto...only One Piece has way more to cover. But I think, One Piece is so freaking random, the creator must have ADD, and therefore, will never even get to all the things you mentioned.

either that or i can see one piece going on for at least 8 more years...i mean, almost 400 chapters and they haven't even gotten all the members of their crew yet, much less achieve the dreams of them all.

i read a theory on another website about what One Piece could be:

of course we know there are a bunch of characters running around with 'D.' as a middle initial...perhaps 'D' is indicitive of a long-lost civilization or royal family from a kingdom at the end of the grand line, and the treasure is the entire kingdom or something.  the kingdom's riches, something like that.  they keep alluding to people with 'D' in their names and how much trouble they cause...and they keep talking about the missing 100 years or something, maybe the two have something in common.

i don't know, i'm probably talking out of my ass, but it wouldn't surprise me to find out that at the end of the grand line they find a pirate empire run by a family named 'D' something-or-other...it would be surprising because it isn't a traditional treasure but it isn't some sappy BS like we all would hate to see...and it would fit right in to the style and plot of OP so far as well.
