**Sorry in advance if this post is made in the wrong forum. I figured that this forum would be the closest related forum to the thread topic.**
Hey gang,
After doing some eBay window shopping for awhile and mentally sorting out my own personal wishlist, I remembered another good VCD webshop that I've previously purchased from that I wanted to pass along to the forum members.
[I'm very well aware that VCDs are an inferior format, compared to DVDs, that many people say is comparable to VHS. When people like me shop, I prefer original Region 1 DVD formats 1st. If that's not available to me, then if the title is on silver pressed/factory VCD, then I'll shop that route. I just prefer to go commercial format first, then I'll step down to DVD-R/RW or VCD-R/RW recordable format...that's my preference.]
Anyways, I previously shopped successfully & satisfactorily at this VCD shop/website/webshop several years ago; however, they were under the name of
http://www.getvcds.com. Now, the website is under the name of
http://www.a1vcd.com. They do carry DVDs as well, however, they're primarily a VCD shop. There prices are comparable to a little higher than that of an average HK DVD.
Another VCD shop that I haven't purchased from, I have window shopped their catalog, yet I get email updates to their catalog is
http://www.sensasian.com. Again, their prices are comparable to a little higher than that of an average HK DVD. They deal in VCDs, other region coded DVDs and multi-region coded DVDs.
However, I just wanted to offer the link of a VCD shop, such as this one as an alternative source. I've ran into only a couple of times to where I couldn't find a title on HK DVD, but I could find it on silver pressed/factory VCD.
BTW, Happy Holidays everyone!
